WHITE TEAS

Organic Pai Mu Tan White Tea (China - Fujian Province)
An organic white tea offering a jammy flavour with sweet notes and a delicious lingering finish. A good body and satisfying cup. White teas have 3 times as many antioxidant polyphenols as green or black teas.

Peony White Needle (China - Chongqing Province)
This delicate white tea has a clean taste faintly reminiscent of fresh apples. Refreshing with a lovely lingering flavour. A very fine, rare tea.

Apricot Peach White (China - Fujian Province)
Pai Mu Tan and peaches and apricots are blended together to create a full bodied tea with a fruity finish and hints of honey.

Pomegranate Guava White (China - Fujian Province)
Fujian Pai Mu Tan with tart pomegranate and juicy guava. This tea can be brewed up to three times.


GREEN TEAS

Chunmee Organic Green (China)
A soothing high quality mountain grown green tea from China. Mellow in flavour, and golden in colour. The perfect tea for daily enjoyment. 100% Fair Trade Certified.

Peacock Organic Green Tea (China- Jiangxi Province)
This delicious tea has a fruity flavour due to the early season picking. When infused, it gives a beautiful cup of tea.

Gunpowder Green Tea
Gunpowder green tea gets is unusual name from the way the leaves are rolled into tiny balls that resemble the coarse grained gunpowder used in old cannons. This tea is traditionally combined with sugar and mint to make Moroccan mint tea.

Dragon Well Green
This tea has a delicate floral scent with a sweet flavour. The unusual flattened jade leaves produce a liquor that is a pale yellow gold colour, and is said to help keep the mind clear during late nights. A perfect student’s tea! Add hot water a second time to the same leaves; many prefer the second cup to the first!

Leopard Snow Buds (China - Fujian Province)
This special tea is picked from specific tea bushes during the last two weeks of March and the first week of April. A very light liquor with an exquisite fresh character.

Gyokuro (Japan - Shizuoka Prefecture) 
A full flavoured green tea with a satisfying and refreshing character. It is pleasantly vegetative with some briskness. A very bright infusion.

Genmaicha Green Tea (Japan)
This unusual Japanese tea is prepared by first steaming the leaves, then after drying, they are combined with roasted rice. The result is an amber brew with a toasty and lightly sweet flavour. Second and third pourings are often considered to be the superior cups. Serve without milk or sugar.

Sencha Organic Green (Japan)
Special Grade Sencha is a very refreshing green tea processed in the needle-leaf style. The leaf is steam treated, then further processed by hot-air dry rolling and finally light roasting. This delightful tea has a natural sweetness, and a fresh fragrance.

Kukicha (Japan)
This tea is a mixture of dark green leaves and stalky, fibrous straw coloured pieces. The infusion is pale yellowy green. It has a light fragrance and a clean sweet almost nutty flavour.

Houjicha (Japan- Shizuoka Prefecture)
This roasted green tea has superior flavour and quality. The leaves are toasty brown and have a sweet, biscuity smell. The infusion is rich amber in colour and has a mild, slightly savoury aroma and flavour.

Mint Green (Sri Lanka)
The base for this cool refreshing tea is Pekoe Gunpowder from the Uva region of Sri Lanka. It is combined with natural mint flavourings. It’s lovely over ice. How about a green tea moitjo?

Organic Strawberry Green (China – Hunan Province)
This light sweet Sencha style green tea is combined with strawberries, papaya and natural flavours. A fresh, flavourful brew.

Organic Kyoto Cherry Rose China – Hunan Province)
A fresh, smooth Japanese style green tea with excellent depth and body. Natural cherry flavouring and subtle rose give an exotic character. Reminiscent of walking under springtime cherry blossoms.

Green Tea Chai (Sri Lanka)
Green tea, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves, lemon grass, cumin, sweet cumin and coriander. Delicious with milk and sugar

Atlantico Lime (China - Hunan Province)
Lively lime flavour explodes from your cup. The freeze dried lime crisps and lemon peel make you want more than one cup. For a real pick-me-up, try this one over ice, it’s fantastic.

Earl Grey Green (Sri Lanka via Newfoundland!)
Excellent Ceylon green tea, flavoured with all natural bergamot oil, originally created in St. John’s, Newfoundland by Angus Mcafee, and named for the visiting Sir Albert Henry George, 4th Earl of Grey, Canada’s Governor General from 1904-1911. Newfoundland’s historic tea!

Decaf Sencha
A typical green tea taste with less caffeine. Decaffeinated using the Co2 method


 JASMINE TEAS

Jasmine Dragon Tears (China - Fujian Province)
Smooth with delicate tea flavour and heavenly Jasmine notes. Seven tears in a cup reward the connoisseur with a lifetime of tea memories. Tears can be used three times consecutively.

Jasmine Silver Balls (China - Chongqing Province)
Pale green liquor with a smooth but delicate and exquisite jasmine flavour. Watch as the hand tied tea transforms into a flower-like blossom.

Organic Jasmine Gold Dragon  (China – Jiangxi Province)
This is a particularly good jasmine – hence named Gold Dragon (wealth and long life). Exquisite midnight May jasmine flowers on a seasonal green tea. Also makes a good iced tea.

Lichee Jasmine Green
Sweet, tart lichee fruit and jasmine combine with luxurious green tea to create a tea intertwined  with touches of honey, citrus and green apple.


OOLONG TEAS

Formosa Oolong (Taiwan - Tung Ting province)
Oolong means semi-fermented, and the best come from Taiwan. This tea is smooth, slightly sweet and toasty with a touch of dryness. 

Oolong Orange Blossom (Taiwan - Tirging/Sri Lanka - Dimbula)
Wildly exotic! Toasty roundness with fruity jasmine notes, this tea is a blend of oolong tea, black tea, jasmine petals, orange peel and natural flavours. Makes a stunning iced tea.

Spring Pouchong (Taiwan)
A fresh and lively oolong with a light astringent finish. Only available for three weeks every April from special tea bushes in Northern Taiwan.

Wuyi Ensemble (China - Fujian Province)
Wuyi Oolong grows defiantly in the gaps of the mountainous rock, rendering cultivation both arduous and spellbindingly beautiful. May be infused a number of times, with each infusion revealing a new nuance of this tea's complex flavour.

Organic Ti Kuan Yin
Unlike other Oolongs, the process of making Ti Kuan Yin involves a longer baking, or drying process. The raw leaf used to produce the tea is grown on a sub-varietal of Camellia sinensis.  Floral-like orchid notes with a smooth and haunting finish. The second cup is the best.

Assam Behora (India - Golaghat district)
A classic Assam estate tea with a traditional leaf style. Produced in June, this tea embodies all the flavour and strength one expects from a top Assam tea. If you like it, lets us know, we’ll e-mail the tea estate!

Assam Gingia (India - Bishnauth)
One of the nicest estate tea Assams available. This golden 2nd flush liquor has classic thickness that is juicy and deliciously malty, with enough flavour and character to hold its own even with milk and sugar.
Narayanpur Assam (India)
From premium colonial bushes this top rated tea offers a smooth bright coppery cup that is malty sweet.TGFOP

Bukhial Assam (India)
A classic Assam with a traditional leaf style. Produced during June, this tea embodies all the flavour and strength one expects from a top Assam tea estate. A very bright and golden coppery infusion .TGFOP

Glendale Nilgiri
Exhibits the classic South Indian tea taste –floral-like flavour with a satisfying cup. A medium strength tea with a bright coppery infusion. OP

Margaret’s Hope Darjeeling (India)
This high quality full leaf Darjeeling is grown on the Margaret’s Hope estate located at the base of the Himalayas. This tea has a fresh muscatel flavour and is reminiscent of a dry white wine. Traditionally served without milk or sugar.

Organic Ceylon (Sri Lanka – Nuwara Eliya)
A Classic Ceylon estate tea. Light liquor with hints of delicate floral notes. Dashes of astringency reminiscent of plum are sprinked throughout the cup. Lovely for afternoon tea parties!

Lover’s Leap (Sri Lanka - Nuwara Eliya)
Coming from one of the best tea gardens in Sri Lanka, this tea is bright and coppery with an excellent flowery flavour. Watch how the leaf uncurls and expands with boiling water. A good after-dinner tea. 

Kenya Black Dryer Mouth
A rich cup with light floral notes and malt. A deep rich colour and full flavour. Takes milk very well. A nice cup of tea!

Milima
A tippy appearance for this deep Bordeaux like malty tea. Picked in Kenya from June to July the leaf provides a distinct floral characteristic. GFBOP

English Breakfast Fair Trade
A rich blend of the finest Fair Trade Certified and Organic black teas. Serve as is, or with a touch of milk and sugar.

Canadian Breakfast (India-Assam/Kenya-Kiambu/China-Yunnan)
A superb fresh morning tea with a bright coppery colour. Malty notes from Assam, flower like hints from Kenya with delicate wisps of oak from Yunnan.

Yunnan Gold (China - Yunnan Region)
Yunnan tea is easily identified by its luscious soft leaves, and a unique peppery taste. Our 'Yunnan Gold' as the name implies is an exceptional quality tea with beautiful gold-coloured leaves and an abundance of rich peppery flavour.

Keemun Concerto (China - Anhui Province)
Black tea from the Anhui region of China. Perhaps the most famous of Chinese varieties, this  crop is prized for its rich smoky flavour, and sumptuous aroma. Our 'Keemun Concerto' is a hand-made, limited production 'Mao Feng' grade tea.

Vienna Opera Ball (Kenya, Sri Lanka, India)
A blended black tea with medium body and jasmine notes, recommended for special occasions, with friends, quiet candlelight and Johann Strauss’s Emperor Waltz softly playing in the background.

Buckingham Palace Garden Party (Kenya, China, Sri Lanka, India)
Every year, the Queen holds a garden party at Buckingham Palace, inviting 3000 - 4000 guests. While you may not have as many at your party, you can now offer the same tea served by Her Majesty! Rule Britannia!

Decaf Courtlodge (Sri Lanka)
Courtlodge is one of the top Ceylon estates. Decaffeinated using the Co2 method. This is a flavourful and satisfying tea with bright coppery notes


FLAVOURED BLACK TEAS

Black Currant (Sri Lanka)
Black Currant (Cassis) gained notoriety in 1712 when the Abbot Bailly published a study on the plant, inferring that Black Currant was an aphrodisiac and should be consumed with great care! A good thirst-quenching tea for a hot summer day.

Chocolate Mint (Sri Lanka - Dimbula, Uva, Nuwara Eliya)
Fresh lively mint combined with full flavoured chocolate tea. How decadent! A new take on the after-dinner mint, this is wonderful with shortbread biscuits. Don’t worry, we sell those too!

Cochin Masala Chai (specialty India/Kenya)
Full bodied tea enhances South Indian masala. The finish has cardamom notes peeking out from lively ginger. Made with black tea, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, cloves, black pepper. Superb with milk and sugar.

Organic Monk’s Blend
Light fruity grenadine lifts exotic caramel and vanilla creating a unique heavenly flavour. An excellent smooth and mellow finish.

Earl Grey Fair Trade (India)
A traditional blend of black teas from India combined with natural Italian bergamot flavour and other natural flavours. Jean-Luc Picard’s favourite tea, hot.

Organic Cream Earl Grey (Sri Lanka)
Organic High Grown black tea, combined with cornflower and osmanthus petals, and natural oil of bergamot. A remarkably heady Earl Grey tempered with wickedly delicious cream flavour. One cup is not enough!

Baroness Grey (Sri Lanka/China/Spain/Italy)
Excellent Earl Grey notes accented with piquant lemon. Lively and full flavoured. Lemon peel, daisy white, rose and cornflower petals add citrus and floral notes.

Organic Mango Mango! (Sri Lanka - Uva)
Piquant and exotic with mysterious fruit notes. The cup has sweetness and delicate hints of island musk that peep out. Makes a superb iced tea.  To this day, mangoes are revered as potent symbols of luck and love. Brew a pot today and wish for true love!

Organic Raspberry
This wonderfully aromatic tea is a delicious blend of the finest black teas, organic hibiscus, and the best natural raspberry flavour. Serve without milk but lightly sweetened to enhance the natural berry taste. Makes an excellent iced tea.

Rhubarb Cream (Sri Lanka)
The name alone is delicious! An exquisite flavour reminiscent of fresh rhubarb pie. Tart and sweet - a lovely togetherness in one cup of tea. An absolutely delectable flavoured black tea! Mmmmm.....

Vanilla (Sri Lanka)
Luxury black tea, sunflower and calendula petals with natural vanilla. It is said that vanilla, the only edible fruit of the orchid family, calms the nerves, lifts the spirits and improves one’s
romantic life.

Wild Blueberry Organic Fair Trade
A unique blend of black teas combined with Canadian wild blueberries. Steep 2 to 3 minutes only. Serve without milk but lightly sweetened to enhance the natural berry taste.

Decaf Earl Grey (Sri Lanka)
Decaffeinated using the Co2 method. This Earl Grey won’t keep you awake. It delivers the same great taste of regular Earl Grey.


MATE

Organic Green Yerba Mate
Full bodied, slightly bitter and wild. This popular pick me up from Latin America is called “the drink of the gods”. Traditionally, drinking from a gourd and sipped through a straw called bombilla.

Roasted Mate
This roasted mate has a pleasingly astringent,   smooth toasty character. A popular alternative to tea or coffee. Although, it does have caffeine, Mate is known for its many health benefits


PU-ERH

Golden Pu-erh 5 Years
From Yunnan Province Pu-erh is a rich earthy tea with a mature flavour.  It is fermented for up to 3 months and then aged for as long as 3 years. It is often described as old and elemental.

Caramel Toffee Pu-erh
Rich earthy Pu-erh is combined with butterscotch and natural flavourings. A warm thick cup of burnt sugar and damp sweet earth.


ROOIBOS TEAS

Pure Organic Fair Trade Rooibos (South Africa)
Full bodied, caffeine-free aromatic and slightly sweet, rooibos is grown only in South Africa and means “red bush” in Afrikaans. It is rich in anti-oxidants and flavinoids, and a natural source of calcium.  Makes a great latte!

Belgian Chocolate Rooibos (South Africa – Cedarburg)
Velvety chocolate smoothness with decadent notes of truffle melting in your mouth. This rooibos is a chocolate lover’s paradise with cacao bean pieces. And it is fat free!

Candy Ginger Peach Rooibos (South Africa)
Refreshing early summer sweet peach notes with light ginger hints. Superb sprightly finish that makes your taste buds come alive! Caffeine free, with blackberry leaves, calendula petals, and ginger pieces.

Crème au Caramel Rooibos (South Africa)
Sweet toffee start with a creamy caramel finish. Made with rooibos tea, caramel pieces and calendula petals. What more could you want? Caffeine free? Well it is!

Florida Orange Rooibos (South Africa - Cedarburg)
Rooibos with a taste of sweet, succulent Florida oranges. A delightful fresh taste! Caffeine free. Serve it over ice as a mid-afternoon refresher, or piping hot as a soothing evening delight.

Ginger Bounce Rooibos (South Africa - Cedarburg)
Bright clean taste with superb ginger notes. Caffeine free, with a fruity touch of spice, the ginger warms the mouth and cleanses the palate. An excellent alternative to green tea when eating spicy Asian dishes.

Hunny Rooibos (South Africa - Cedarburg)
Rooibos accentuated by the naturally sweet character of honey. Delicious finish! If Winnie the Pooh got his hands on a pot of this caffeine-free delight, he’d never let go. You might not either!

Maple Rooibos Organic Fair Trade (South Africa)
A great tasting herbal tea that is naturally caffeine free. Sweeten to bring out all of the natural maple flavour taste. May be served with or without milk, makes a great latte! This tea does contain barley wheat.  

Organic Roman Provence Rooibos (South Africa - Cedarburg)
Fruity ripe berry notes balanced with mild lavender. Caffeine free, with a soothing effect on headaches, disturbed sleeping patterns and digestive problems.

Organic Fair Trade Rooibos Chai (South Africa)
Rooibos Chai is a great tasting herbal spiced tea, naturally caffeine free. Sweeten to taste, with or without milk. Makes a great tasting latte!

Cranberry Rooibos
A blend of Rooibos, cranberries, hibiscus, rosehip and natural flavours create a smooth, sweet acidic fruity cup. Full cranberry character with herbal notes.

Marzipan Rooibos
A wonderful blend of rooibos, almonds and papaya. A caffeine free beverage that is like marzipan in a cup.

Vanilla Rooibos Organic Fair Trade
Organic caffeine free rooibos meets with natural vanilla flavourings and organic calendula petals to bring you this beautiful blend. Sweeten to bring out even more of the natural vanilla taste.

KIDS TEAS

Tutti  Frutti  for  Kids
A terrific tasting tea for kids. A candy like caramel flavour gives sweetness. Berries add depth and flavour. Rich in Vitamin C. Makes a great iced tea.  Ingredients: Dried apple pieces, hibiscus petals, rosehip pieces, sweet orange peel, calendula, cornflower and rose petals, raisins, dried currants, natural flavours.

Yummy  Berry  for  Kids
Wildberry , currant and fruity, tending sweet and tart. A must for a kiddies tea parties and makes delicious popsicles! Rich in Vitamin C. Makes a great iced tea. HERBAL AND FRUIT TEAS

Bella Coola (Canada, USA, Thailand and Spain)
A predominately orange character with the lovely sweetness of pineapple. Fantastic aroma, and caffeine free! Makes a great iced tea. Dried apple pieces, hibiscus petals, rosehip pieces, sweet orange peel, natural flavours.

Blood Orange
A delicious, caffeine-free blend of natural fruits and spices that brews up a mouth-watering cup of herbal tea. The flavour is all natural, emanating from orange peels, hibiscus flowers, apple pieces, rose hip and safflower. Highly addictive, please proceed with caution!

Ginger & Cinnamon
This very popular tea is a spicy non-caffeinated blend of freshly ground cinnamon and ginger, an excellent after dinner drink. Steep 5 minutes. Try it with cranberry juice, serve hot or iced! Serve as is, or sweeten to taste.

Khartoum Hibiscus (Sudan - Nile River Valley, Khartoum)
We’re very pleased to offer this special organic product from the farmlands of Sudan. A bright, burgundy red infusion, similar to pomegranate, but with a “pucker power” taste similar to lemonade!

Kitsilano Organic Herbal Tea
This wonderful herbal tea is a delicious blend of mint,  hibiscus, and chamomile. Excellent served hot or as an iced tea. Sweeten with honey or sugar to bring out this tea’s exotic character.

Lady Hannah’s Whole Fruit (Canada, USA, Thailand and Spain)
A boldly refined taste bright with strawberry and blackberry highlights; a caffeine-free taste sensation rich in Vitamin C. Made with Hibiscus petals, rosehips, sweet orange peel, lemon peel, dried apple, raspberries, blueberries, strawberry pieces, pineapple pieces.

Licorice Root (Turkey – Imia)
Sweet character with light medicinal notes and anise like finish. Excellent blended with our Organic Peppermint or Chamomile. The Egyptians were so fond of this root that Tutankhamen was entombed with some!

Mercedes Apple Spice (Canada)
Caffeine free and full of vitamins, including vitamin C. Anyone would enjoy this delicious blend of fruit and spice! It reminds Kelly of hot apple cider, but not overly sweet.  Apple Pieces, Hibiscus, Cinnamon, Cloves, Pepper, Cardomom, Apple Pomance, Stevia, Cornflower Petals, and Natural Flavours.

Organic Egyptian Chamomile (Egypt)
Not all Chamomile teas are alike! This naturally caffeine free tea is made from the finest Egyptian chamomile flowers, known for their distinctive flavours and fresh aroma. Chamomile has long been appreciated as the perfect solution to a hectic day or a heavy meal. Enjoy with honey, lemon or cinnamon, do not add milk.

Organic Honeybush (South Africa - Cedarburg)
A refreshing and cleansing red tea. Hints of honey with a peppery finish. Try it with milk and sugar. Caffeine free,  certified organic. Try the traditional tea of the !Kung San and Khoi-Khoi peoples of Southern Africa.

Organic Peppermint (USA – State of Washington)

Organic Spearmint (USA - State of Washington)
Mouth tingling and lively, pungent, cool, fresh - literally takes your breath away. Ingredients? Just spearmint! Caffeine free.

Organic Tibet Wild Lavender (Tibet Autonomous Region)
Ancient scrolls indicate Buddhist monks believed the aromatic scent of lavender contained elements of comfort, compassion and the wisdom of a long lifetime of experience. The Dalai Lama counts lavender as one of his favourite herbs! Kelly agrees.

Organic Wild Rose Buds (China - Anhui Province)
Delicate, soft rose character, very pleasant and soothing, light with pinkish tones. These buds are gathered by a small village in the heart of Anhui Province, supplementing the village income derived from tea growing.

Rosehip a.k.a. Sweetbriar or Eglantine (Germany)
This wonderful herbal is high in Vitamin C. It eases stress, battles coughs and colds. It is said to aid infections of the bladder and kidneys. Add lemon, orange or peaches for additional flavour.

Thai Sunset
This wonderful herbal tea is a delicious blend of organic rose hips, mint leaves, ginger root, lemon grass, and sweet orange peel. Steep in very hot water, sweeten with honey or sugar to fully bring out all of this drink’s truly exotic character.

Lemon Spirit
Nothing compares to the brilliant tanginess of this truly refreshing herbal tea. A lively combination of lemon myrtle, limes, orange peel, gingers and rose hips create a spirited, fresh taste that is naturally caffeine free. Excellent served hot or as an iced tea, sweeten with honey or sugar.

Organic Natural Lemonade
Sun-dried, organic ground lemon peels makes for beautiful lemonade.Place 1 tsp for every 8 ounces into freshly boiled water, steep for 5 minutes add a dash of sugar, chill and serve over ice
